Legal professional — compliance, financial regulation & sustainability (ESG)
I’m a lawyer based in Milan, working where law meets finance and sustainability: financial regulation, compliance and ESG.
In Iran I qualified as an attorney, ranking in the top 2% of more than 81,000 candidates in the Iranian Central Bar examination. I then served as primary legal counsel for a major network of petroleum-product and gas-station businesses, advising on regulatory compliance, contracts and sanctions risk.
My LL.M. in Law and Sustainable Development at the University of Milan (2023–2026) added quantitative tools to that legal work. My thesis uses a cross-country analysis to measure how geopolitical risk affects GDP growth and macroeconomic stability.
I’m now looking for a role or internship in compliance, ESG or banking in Italy.
